A high quality circa 1800 rose Medallion mandarin Canton covered dish and original oval under plate. Absolutely exquisite and painted with incredible detail with varying panels of Chinese Asian oriental flowers birds and butterflies. Invredibly the cover is original and the under plate is original as well. Rich gold gilt hand painted insect finial. Very good condition. No repairs, hairlines, or cracks. Original with all the decoration and enamel painting being hand done and raised where you feel the decoration when you run your fingers over it.
