Antique Chinese Oriental Bronze Gilt Base.

A very high quality antique bronze or Asian reticulated base with a matching gold gilt bronze ring at top that gets inserted.   Possibly the base for an important ming porcelain vase or a 17th century celadon vessel.   Now heavily tarnished over 125 years old.   No breaks cracks or repairs.   The O ring is also antique but may have been added later,  maybe for a lamp.  The base itself has not been modified and may be 18th century.   Stylized reticulations.  Measuring 8" diameter with 5.5" opening at top.
