Antique Bronze Sconces E F Caldwell Pair Gilt.

An early antique pair of E F Caldwell perfect matching pair of sconces.  Friends, these are early and original circa 1900 first cast crisp quality Caldwell sconces.  They have been in storage for the past 50 years.  Discovered in an estate in Long Island's famed Gold Coast, with what looks like 1930's lighting bulb hardware with original pull strings.  They need to be rewired for use.  There are no missing parts in the sconces.  All there and original.  Remarkably in good condition with the exaggerated stylized u form on each sconce with each branch having extreme flow and shape.  The 2 tone patina is in good shape but tarnished and all gold work is there and not worn.  Fresh out of storage.

Please note:  Similar sconces have been used in the White House throughout history.
