Circa 1800's original bronze sculpture by the museum sculptor PJ Mene rendering a life like toned dog in a realistic recumbent pose and attentive face.  Original patina with great definition is shown in this sculpture.  Magnificent detail such as designs on the ground showing branches and leaves on the base of the bronze as well as the detail in the dog's eyes showing the emotion of the dog.

Heavy weight as you would expect in a solid bronze sculpture measuring 4" high and 5.5" wide and 3.5" deep.
