Antique Bohemian glass Moser Porcelain Plaque Lamps.

A rare pair of circa 1880's emerald green with applied hand painted porcelain plaques.   Classic portraits of 18th century beauties with elaborate hair and fabulous erotic dresses with the shoulders showing painted exquisitely on each vase.  Friends, these lamps are 19th century (over 150 years old) Bohemian glass moser vases which were expertly converted in the 1950's with high quality mid century Modern lucite bases.  The vases themselves measure a large 13" tall with a 5.5" diameter in the body of each vase.  There is no cracks or chips or breaks or restorations.   All hand applied 24k gold.  There is gold wear throughout each vase which gives it a wonderful original antique look.  Please look at Sotheby's London sales in the past 30 years where you can see similar examples selling for anywhere from 3000 to 4000 Pound Sterling.
