A true antique water color pairing under glass with antique gilt wood frame.  Highly stylized with a wonderful vanishing point of the mountains in the distance and cows in the foreground. A figure can be seen by the house in the distance watching the cows.  The water color brush strokes are extremely fine and absolutely exquisitely painted with the animals and leaves on the trees.  The figure standing by the house looks to be a woman dressed in traditional outfit of the period.   Surely the work of a major artist of the period.  No signature evident.   The details of the painting the quality is similar to Jean Baptiste Camille Corot.  Magnified images provided upon request.
