1970's All Wool Hand Knotted Oriental Rug 3' X 5' Very Fine Knots.
The finest type of oriental rug from the finest region 1970's original never walked on new old stock oriental rug with wool. Very desirable size 3' 6" x 5' 3". This rug was professionally hand washed using organic shampoos. A very fine Weave. Very tiny Knots as you can see in the image next to the coin. This rug was always in a boutique oriental rug store and has been in storage since the store closed. Never walked on. Minor imperfection near 1 edge consistent with age. Near fringe. As seen in 1 image. Otherwise perfect full pile soft supple wool all original, no wear. Just like when it was woven. Other high quality rugs like this take 6 months to Weave because the Knots are so fine using highest quality wool to produce this dramatic color combination of cherry red and cream background with intricate mind blowing pattern. Clean soft wonderful feel. Very durable. These were sold for $5000 in the 1970's.
