A fine large 44.5" tall x 54" wide antique frame which would fit a painting the size of 32.5" tall x 43" wide.  Antique original gilded gold with some expected chips and missing applied decoration as well as a gap in the upper right as can be seen in the pictures.  A very important looking frame.  Sturdy and solid.  Obviously a frame for an important valuable old master painting.   Professional conservation will bring it back to its original glory.  Naturally distressed giving it a desirable antique look.
