Antique French Empire Bronze Swan Lamps.
Museum quality French Empire Bronze swan lamps formerly candelabras turned into lamps mid century about 60 years ago with Baccarat Crystal shades from the 1910's. Mercury gilding ormolu now nicely showing some wear and tarnishing in various areas. Figures depicted nude allegorical erotic women and cherubs putti. Magnificent swan wings on display with natural feathers engine turned detail all lifelike and highly stylized circa 1840's or earlier. Please note this rare pair of Napoleonic candelabra lamps with later added Baccarat crystal come from a New York estate and they were from a collection that included Thomire bronze as well as Sevres porcelain, I will be offering signed French antiques in the future.
