A rare original french empire dore bronze ormolu centerpiece with its original crystal clear diamond cut Baccarat center bowl and original exotic marble bevelled base. Each sculpture is cast separately and integrated and applied in the centerpiece beautifully. Napoleonic empire antiques of this period were always the highest quality in artisan creations in the 18th and 19th century. This impressive centerpiece measures 11 and 1/2 inches tall with a 9 inch diameter. The semi nude figures have their breasts exposed with their dress draped over their sensuous female figures. Such fine detail can be seen in the toes of each standing figure indicating of museum pieces from France. No chips cracks or hairlines in the original Baccarat crystal. With the bronze now showing nice wear in its original gold gilding nice antique patina. Look for sevres Royal Vienna and grand tour antiques in my upcoming auctions.
