Massive French Opaline Jade Green Vase.
A large antique French jade color opaline glass vase measuring almost 17" tall with a wide 9.25" diameter at the top. Probably made by Baccarat, as Baccarat made some opaline glass in the late 19th century. I have never seen such a large antique opaline vase. This rare jade rich green color was only selected for the more expensive pieces at the turn of the century. No chips or cracks or repairs of any nature. Over 100 years old. Heavy. Considerable gold wear, consistent with age. Has authentic antique look. Great for interior design installation or for a French or Bohemian glass collector.
